Course Outline
This course will discuss verses 1-18 of Sura Yusuf which narrates the encounter of Nabi Yusuf (a) and his brothers. Students will read and reflect upon the verses, and
connect them to present day situations they may face.
The main objectives of the course are to help students:
- become familiar with the story of Nabi Yusuf from the Quran.
- learn about family relationships
- understand the dangers of jealousy and lying.
Each session will include a reading of verses in Arabic and English, an explanation, and its commentary. Cross reference to other verses of the Quran on the same theme may also be explored.
